In CW04-2012 IMR continued to invest in workplace safety
In CW04-2012 IMR continued to invest in workplace safety. 20 extra men of the operational staff in theory and practice have been trained, tested and certified with the support of our partner GARDEMANN according to the IPAF guidelines as a lifting platform operator. Scissors and swivel arm manlifts (so called “cherry pickers”) are used in many areas and involve numerous risks. Through the observance of basic operating instructions, most hazards are reduced to virtually zero. Emergency lowering and other maneuvers were practiced by each participant which gives confidence in dealing with the devices.
